Burdur limestone in beige-honey tones: brushed and economical.
Gün Işığı is a honey and beige limestone with an even texture from our Burdur quarry.
Appearance and origin
Limestone is lighter and softer than marble, easy to work and low in cost. Its matt texture does not glare on wide façades and gives a warm tone in daylight. Fossil traces are rare and characteristic.

Areas of use
Housing and office façades, garden paths, rustic interior floors, retaining-wall cladding. In regions with heavy acid rain it may weather faster than marble or granite.
Finish and export
Brushed and sandblasted finishes are standard outdoors. Quarry: Burdur (contracted partner quarry, processed and quality-controlled at Petrova). FOB İzmir price starts at 27 USD/m² for 2 cm grade-A slabs and varies with thickness, grade and quantity. A technical sheet and a sample tile are sent on request.
